Suggestion to Parents
Parents and Guardians would do well to call on the Principal at his/her leisure hours at least once in a term to get information regarding their children and do the need full in time. 

The Co-operation of parents in all the affairs of the college ensures the best conduct of the college.

   

THE KOZHIKODE GOVERNMENT LAW COLLEGE ASSOCIATION–CONSTITUTION

1. The members of the teaching staff and students of the Law College, Kozhikode shall together constitute an association called the “Kozhikode Law College Association”.
2. The object of the Association is to work for the all round welfare of the students of the college by organising and promoting all kinds of the healthy activities, academic and extra-curricular.
3. The Principal shall be the patron of the Association. All the other members of the teaching staff shall be vice-patrons of the Association.
4. There shall be a Student Chairman to preside over all the ordinary meetings of the Association and all the meetings of the Executive Committee.
5. Subject to the other provisions there shall be an Executive Committee consisting of the following members for carrying on the affairs of the Association:-

(1) Chairman
(2) Vice-Chairman
(3) General Secretary
(4) Joint Secretary
(5) Arts Club Secretary
(6) Moot Club Secretary
(7) Student Editor–Law College Magazine
(8) General Captain
(9) University Union Councillor
(10) One elected representative from among the students of each class.
Note.—In case there is no lady representative among the elected members, the Principal shall nominate one lady student to the Committee.
 

6. The Chairman, Vice-Chairman, the General Secretary, Joint Secretary, the Arts Club Secretary, the Moot Club Secretary, the Student Editor, General Captain and the University Union Councillor shall be elected by all the students of the college.
7. The class representatives shall be elected by the students of each class.
8. The elections shall be arranged to be conducted by the Principal as early as possible after the re-opening of the college each year.
9. The General Secretary shall keep all the records and reports of the activities of the Association and shall be generally responsible for carrying on all the activities of the Association satisfactorily and efficiently.
10. Every student member of the Association shall pay the annual membership fee as he/she joins the college.
11. The procedure to be followed at the meeting of the Association and the committee shall be ordinarily well recognised parliamentary procedure.
12. If for any reason, any student elected to any office mentioned above is unable to hold office during the year, the Principal may nominate another student to the place.
13. In matters of doubt regarding the constitution or procedure the ruling of the Patron shall be conclusive and final.
