Government Law College, Kozhikode, established in 1970, is dedicated to providing high-quality education and knowledge in the field of law. As the third law college in Kerala, it offers a range of academic programs, including a five-year BBA LLB, a three-year LLB, and an LLM with specializations in Taxation and Criminal Law. The college is also home to several academic centers such as the Research Centre on Law, the Chair on Human Rights, the Centre on IPR, and the Centre on Tribal Studies.

 

Throughout its history, the institution has adapted to social changes, fostering a legal environment that upholds justice, equality, dignity, and human rights for all. Recognized for its contributions, the college was included in the Kerala State Budget of 2021 and is set to be developed into a Centre of Excellence.
